Elizabeth Hayes Christopher is a multidisciplinary artist and published poet whose work is rooted in exploration, discovery, and the liberating power of creativity. She studied art history at the Institute of European Studies in London and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College, where she focused on art, photography, and poetry.

Elizabeth continued her artistic exploration in New York City for 17 years, studying horticulture and garden design at the New York Botanical Garden, floral design at Parsons School of Design, and creative writing at New York University. Since 2003, she has created work from her studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as in New York City and inspiring destinations around the world.

“I create doorways to exploration—doorways to shadow, doorways to light, doorways to discovery and remembering. Creativity frees creativity, frees freedom!”   —Elizabeth Hayes Christopher

Elizabeth continues to pursue ambitious creative projects alongside her husband, multidisciplinary artist Scott Christopher, who is represented by InspiratumColligere in Jackson’s Art District West.
