Elizabeth Hayes Christopher is a multidisciplinary fine artist and published poet whose work is rooted in exploration, discovery, and the liberating power of creativity. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 2003, with former studios in Paris, France and Chelsea, New York City. She immerses herself in a world of creativity producing art that is alive and unpredictable. Her artistic odyssey spans and integrates painting, photography, sculpture, poetry, and film.

 

Christopher studied art history in London and art, photography, and poetry at Bowdoin College. She continued her artistic exploration in New York City for over 20 years, studying at The Arts Students League of New York, New York Botanical Garden, New York University, and Parsons School of Design. Elizabeth’s artistic travels and experiences in thirty-two countries greatly influence her work.

Elizabeth also pursues collaborative creative projects with her husband, multidisciplinary artist Scott Christopher. Elizabeth is represented by InspiratumColligere in Jackson’s Art District West.
