A TRANSFORMATIVE RIDING EXPERIENCE

adaptive riding

Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding's Adaptive Riding program provides individuals of all ages and abilities the chance to learn horseback riding in a safe and supportive environment. Our PATH Intl. instructors adapt lessons to fit each rider’s unique needs and meet their individual goals, using specialized equipment or teaching strategies when helpful. At its heart, Adaptive Riding is about learning the sport and fun of riding—while building confidence and independence along the way.

Many families notice additional benefits, such as stronger balance and coordination, improved communication and social skills, stronger motor skills, improved emotional regulation, and more. Most of all, riders discover the joy of partnering with a horse while learning something new.
