suggested attire
MALE
Men tend to wear chinos, jeans or slacks and a dress shirt. A blazer or sport coat is a useful layer when the sun disappears behind the mountains. Want to add some Western flair? Consider a bolo tie and/or cowboy hat. Loafers, driving shoes, or cowboy boots are excellent choices. Don’t forget sunglasses!
FEMALE
Most women wear dresses or separates. A bold and attention-grabbing hat not only completes the look, but automatically enters you into our hat competition (ala Kentucky Derby). Because the event takes place on a grassy field, women should avoid heels. Opt instead for a flat or wedge so you can comfortably stomp the divots at half time. A shawl or light jacket are recommended for after the sun sets.
