Scott Christopher is an abstract intuitive, multidisciplinary, American artist whose work spans painting, photography, sculpture, writing, and filmmaking. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for more than three decades, his practice is guided by intuition, bold experimentation, and a belief in art’s power to expand how we understand the world, stating, "ART is the universal language - It allows people to connect and relate beyond words."
Before pursuing art, Christopher was a professional baseball champion and record holder. His creative career has since taken him to 41 countries and included work with—and photography of—numerous cultural icons and public figures. Elvis Presley, Princess Di, Muhammad Ali, Jasper Johns, Paloma Picasso, and hundreds more!
In the studio, he is known for physically constructed, carved, and richly layered paintings that combine texture, geometry, and expressive color while exploring themes of human potential, transformation, genetics, and consciousness. Christopher has exhibited throughout the United States and internationally and is also an author and public speaker.
His most recent book, "Baseball, Art, and Dreams", reached No. 1 among Amazon’s newly released baseball biographies. Scott is represented by InspiratumColligere, located in Jackson’s Art District West. He continues to collaborate on artistic global projects alongside his wife, internationally recognized artist Elizabeth Hayes Christopher.
