Who can resist a face this cute? Pot Roast is a 12-year-old grade pony that is as wide as he is tall. Before joining JHTR, he had been used in the mountains as a trail and pack horse and taught kids how to ride. He is a versatile addition to the JHTR herd because he is patient and comfortable to ride independently and also will also carry our littlest participants with the utmost care. Pot Roast would love if you stopped by his stall and said hello!

To fulfill our participants’ needs, we rely on a team of strong, compassionate, and patient horses. At JHTR, our horses are our most valuable employees—our therapeutic partners. These incredible animals enhance the quality of life for hundreds of people in the course of their career. As such, the success of our program hinges on our investment in and maintenance of these healers.
