First Year of Service: 2023

Coal joined the JHTR herd in the Spring of 2023 as a loan from the Gros Ventre River Ranch. After years on the trail, he has become an excellent therapeutic riding horse. His gentle demeanor and easy-going attitude have made him a versatile horse for many participants to ride and learn on. He always takes care of his rider and has been a great partner for many of our teenage and adult riders.

These incredible animals enhance the quality of life for hundreds of people in the course of their career. As such, the success of our program hinges on our investment in and maintenance of these healers.
