Tulsa is an old soul with the kindest eyes. His wise nature and good looks make him easy to be around even if someone is intimidated. Being a gaited horse means his movement is unique and smooth compared to all the other horses in our herd. He is sporty enough for our independent riders but is also sensitive enough to carry our more adaptive adult participants. We are excited to welcome Tulsa to our herd!

To fulfill our participants’ needs, we rely on a team of strong, compassionate, and patient horses. At JHTR, our horses are our most valuable employees—our therapeutic partners. These incredible animals enhance the quality of life for hundreds of people in the course of their career. As such, the success of our program hinges on our investment in and maintenance of these healers.
